What is your favorite thing to cook?
I go through phases. Recently its been home made bagels.
What is your favorite ingredient?
Salt and Pepper.
Do you have any dietary restrictions you use in cooking (i.e. vegetarian, diabetic)?
No real restrictions I use. However I do have an interest in vegetarian and semi vegetarian cookery. I'm a recovering vegetarian, so some things are hard to give up.
What kitchen utensil can't you live with out?
A spatula
What kitchen utensil do you covet?
A A kitchenaid Epicurean 6 Quart in Red with the meat grinder attachment/pasta plates. Someday this will be mine.
What are your favorite types of foods?
Ethnic! Street food! Anything that doesn�t bite me back! . I'm an adventurous eater and an adventurous cook.
How many people do you usually cook for?
Between 2-5 , including a very fussy 9 year old.
Any other personal info you'd like to share?
Recovering vegetarian with a passion for organic produce. I work full time as a Customer Service manager for an ISP, and cooking is one of my getaways. I go through these periods where I learn to cook something new and get obsessed with it. Right now its making the perfect bagel by hand, previous it was making those awesome German Apple Pancakes. It used to be Thai food, and Japanese Noodle bowl dishes. I'm an experienced Canner, and love making pickles and jams. I've also got an interest in historical cooking and am experienced with dutch oven cooking over coals. I'm married and most often spend time cooking for my husband, my best friends and their daughter. I'm also the mom to 3 irresistible cats.
